About Grey

Grey is a full-time faculty member at Missouri Western in the Criminal Justice, Legal Studies, Social Work Department, and a founding partner of Lifeworks Family Treatment group in Kansas City. Grey completed his Master’s Degree in Social Welfare at the University of Kansas in 1992. His passion for helping children and families has made him an invaluable resource in Kansas City's fostering an adoptive community. He is renowned speaker in the topics of attachment, family systems, ethics, trauma, and parenting. In addition, he is a DSW student at The University of Southern California (USC) where he is exploring the impact on child welfare within the Grand Challenge of ensuring the healthy development of youth. Together, Grey and his wife of 30 years live in Lenexa, Kansas and have raised 3 sons, all of which attained the rank of Eagle Scout.
